A key aspect of maXem's success has been the inclusion from the beginning of an automated data collection and reporting service. Named DataGain, this system allows daily collection of operational and productivity related data and so enables management to pull daily reports on aspects such as drilled meters and lost utilizations.

DataGain also links the different elements of the mining lifecycle allowing our project managers to understand breakdowns and consumable usage.
