maXem Engineering has three main fields of activity:

• design, manufacturing of equipment such as the Raise-Tech W50 long-hole drill rig fitted with the Wassara water-powered hammer
• repairs, maintenance and field servicing of the equipment operated by the maXem mining companies
• design and manufacture of rock-drilling tools including DTH button bits up to 215mm diameter
